Michael Byrne – Bio

Michael joined the Army as a Junior Leader at the age of 16, on completion of his one years’ basic training was highly recommended to join a Parachute or Commando regiment, with his roots in Scotland he opted for the All Arms Commando Course, on completion he was awarded the coveted Green Beret. During his military career he travelled the world in both friendly and hostile environments. On leaving the military he set up his own construction company that he went on to sell for a six figure sum. With a pull back to the Military environment spent a number of years as a contractor in the Armed Security Industry overseas, including working on some of the world’s largest super yachts. With his hard work ethic it enables him to participate and travel the world fulfilling his ambitions.

    Climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa & Mt Elbrus in Russia with my 12 year old son, Liam
    Participated in Charlie Paton’s Longest, coldest winter race, Frostkade 500, a 100, 250 and 500 mile foot race over 3 countries, Norway, Sweden & Finland & assisited as part of the training team
